Many investors are asking themselves the same question more and more often: but why can't the Italian Stock Exchange pay back as it did many years ago? The reasons in reality are many: just think of the very small number of listed companies; only Madrid has four times more, Paris more than double! Another reason: the Milanese list is too unbalanced on banking stocks: when these stocks go bad, the whole stock index goes bad. And, since bank stocks in the last ten years are going badly, as in the rest of Europe, Milan's share price list collapses, or remains lower than in the rest of Europe! This does not happen in Madrid or Paris, simply because their price lists are much more balanced, with highly capitalized companies not belonging to the banking sector, the most affected by the crisis! Let's be smart: let's increase the number of listed companies, and if possible, in sectors not related to the banking sector! Have your say!!! You, what do you think?
